Indoor Training
Police Training Centre, Nanveej is one of the 10 training centres of Maharashtra Police assigned responsibility of providing basic training (Foundation Course ) to newly recruited constables of Maharashtra Police. Institute gives 9 months basic training for recruits. Main aim of the training is to teach policing skills to recruits for effective functioning of police.
Indoor training is scheduled in morning time . They are taught subjects like IPC, CRPC, Minor Act, Evidence Act, Cyber Crime, Law and Order, Practical like FIR, Panchnama, Cyber Forensics, Collection of Evidence, Investigation,Crime prevention, Police public relations, Forensic Science, Computer basics , CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System), Finger prints etc.
Traditionally approach of police towards society is to behave indifferent manner, but these days subject like ‘ Emotional Intelligent Police’ are helping them to have more compassionate approach towards complainant, family and society as a whole.
Upgradation of training material
The indoor faculty created power point presentations of all subjects which are regularly used for training of trainees with the help of multimedia projectors. & other electronic teaching aids. Due to which Trainees find it very useful to understand subject matter.
Our faculty has created very handy notes in the form of question and answer banks of all subjects. These are proving very useful to our trainees .From current year the faculty have started taking periodical review of improvement in trainees with the help of monthly exams. This initiatives has become very handy for analysing gradual progress of cops in making.
